I can’t say enough amazing things about Dr. Gougoutas and his entire team. From the very first consultation, he was so caring, gentle, and reassuring. He truly listened to my concerns and made me feel completely comfortable every step of the way. The staff was incredibly friendly, supportive, and welcoming — they genuinely made the whole experience stress-free.
I am absolutely beyond happy with my results. This breast reduction has truly changed my life. Dr. Gougoutas has made me feel like a new person — I have so much more confidence and finally feel comfortable in my own body. Before my surgery, I was extremely self-conscious and avoided wearing clothes that clung to my body. Now, I feel confident and happy wearing things I never would have before.
Not only has my confidence improved, but my back and shoulder pain have decreased significantly, which has made such a huge difference in my daily life. I am so grateful for the care, skill, and compassion Dr. Gougoutas showed throughout this journey.

His concern and care for his patients is evident, and I never felt rushed.
I highly recommend Dr. Gougoutas and his staff – especially if you are anxious about surgery and/or hesitant to proceed with breast augmentation/reduction and/or reconstruction.
I appreciated how approachable he was in our first meeting. He took a lot of time to understand my situation and the goals I wanted to achieve. He provided me with multiple options to get my desired results and allowed me to partner with him in deciding the best solution for me. I probably had more questions than was needed, prior to my surgery, but he took the time to answer each one by phone or in person to ensure I was comfortable. His concern and care for his patients is evident and I never felt rushed.
The surgery staff was exceptional at calming my nerves on the day of surgery and the anesthesiologist was fabulous!
The whole team has made me feel comfortable and cared for throughout the process. The weeks just following my surgery, the staff was very responsive in answering all my questions promptly.
I am now 6 weeks post-op and delighted with my results. Thank you again to the staff and especially to Dr. Gougoutas for your care. He is a highly skilled and talented surgeon and I gladly recommend him.

GO SEE GOUGIE!!!!!!! Dr. Gougoutas made me feel so seen and supported throughout my entire experience (a breast reduction and lift), and was both professional and compassionate. I had seen a few other doctors before him for quotes and they would speak so negatively about my breasts and even pointed out other features on my body that they recommended changing. Dr. Gougoutas never took that approach! He spoke to how my natural features would enhance the results of the surgery instead of how the surgery was the “fix” to my body/issues. It’s a small difference in the narrative that makes a huge impact in the patient experience and I believe showcases his patient-centered, supportive, and collaborative approach. He rejects a “one size fits all” mentality, really listening to what I wanted and combining that with his own expertise and my body type to create the perfect result for my body and no one else’s. I’ve already recommended him to two other people who plan on seeing him soon.

By far.. the absolute best experience I have ever had. Not only is Dr. G an artist, the way I was watched over after being home was something I had never experienced. Post-operative support has been 5-star; Dr. Gougoutas has stayed in close contact throughout my recovery.
I am three weeks post-op from a breast lift (no implants) and arm lift with Dr. Gougoutas, and the results have already far exceeded my expectations.
Dr. Gougoutas provided exceptional, data-driven advice during my consultation. He recommended a phased approach—performing the breast lift without implants first to ensure the best long-term outcome—and utilized surgical mesh for added support during the healing process. His expertise and transparency gave me immense confidence in the plan and so far I love the results and see no need to add implants.
The entire surgical team was professional and made me feel completely at ease. Post-operative support has been 5-star; Dr. Gougoutas has stayed in close contact throughout my recovery. Even with a 7 hour round trip drive from Chelan for the surgery and an overnight stay in a hotel for the initial post op appointment, the quality of care throughout made every mile and the expense worth it.

Dr. Gougoutas checked in several times after my procedure to make sure I was doing well.
I am beyond thrilled with the results from my procedure done by Dr Gougoutas- reduction and lift.
Communication from start to finishes was clear and consistent, including pre-op, post-op. I had several meetings with the Dr before the procedure and he called and met me several times after the procedure to make sure I was doing well
On the finance side everything was explained to me clearly and upfront (no hidden charges here). I was not looking for a bargain when it came to my health, but my procedure fit within my price point.
The facility where I had it done was state of the art and clean ( located in Nordstrom Medical Tower). The whole staff was wonderful. They explained step by step what was happening and made me feel very comfortable (naturally the day of surgery I was a bit nervous)
Dr Gougoutas is a wonderful surgeon and the work he does is impeccable. But he also listens to you, wants your feedback, has great bedside manner and you can tell he truly cares about his patients.

I highly recommend Dr. Gougoutas to anyone needing his excellent care. I could not have been more pleased with the process or the outcome.
I would like to sing the praises of Dr. Gougoutas for his expertise and his abilities as a surgeon as well as his perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness, which put me at ease before and during my surgery. Surgeons have had a bad reputation for not having good “bedside manners,” which is an unfortunate stereotype. That has not ever been my perception with any surgeon I have had operating on me. Dr. Gougoutas definitely impressed me in every way. He explained the procedure in my pre-op virtual visit and answered all of my questions with clarity, taking all the time I needed. Since I chose local anesthesia, I was able to know exactly what was happening from start to finish. As an added benefit, I got to choose the music to accompany my time on the table. I asked for jazz and he happened to choose my favorite jazz group! He was very attentive to my comfort and let me know what was going on during the procedure. On top of all of this, he called me at home that evening to check up on me and again a couple of days later. He even gave me his cell phone number! My post-op was virtual (with photos he asked for on My Chart) and he was very encouraging about my recovery. Questions were all answered to my satisfaction. I highly recommend Dr. Gougoutas to anyone needing his excellent care. I could not have been more pleased with the process or the outcome.

Extremely happy with my results – I feel like a new person.
I had a really wonderful experience with Dr. Gougoutas. He is extremely friendly (somewhat like a pediatrician!), and he was available to answer every question asked. He made sure that I understood and felt comfortable with every step of the process. I would suggest him up and down for anyone that is nervous about choosing the right surgeon (or is nervous about undergoing surgery at all!). This was my first surgery, and I went into the surgery with barely any nerves because I knew I was in good hands. Along with that, I am extremely happy with my results, and I feel like a whole new person. I had a breast reduction, and of course, was nervous about coming out botched. But that was NOT a problem! He made sure they were as even as he could get them, and my confidence as completely sky rocketed. I thank him immensely for this smooth experience and the results.

Amazing Experience – So Thankful.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 36 years old; I had a bilateral mastectomy with expanders and about five months later I had reconstructive surgery with implants. Dr. Gougoutas performed both procedures and I was thrilled with my results. My incisions were clean and healed beautifully and I had zero complications. I felt like Dr. Gougoutas really listened to me as a patient and took my feedback into consideration. He was helpful, kind and he did amazing work. I’m so thankful I had him as my doctor while I navigated the scary waters of cancer. Can’t recommend him enough!

The results are phenomenal – the incision is virtually invisible.
Dr Gougoutas removed a small, but noticeable cyst from the side of my nose. The process was fast – under a week from first consult to procedure – and the results are phenomenal. The incision is virtually invisible less than two weeks post-procedure. Pain was minimal – no medication required Results are important but equally important is the kindness and expertise exhibited by every team member. Prior to removal I couldn’t wear sunglasses due to location of the cyst and the pain caused by contact. I can now wear sunglasses with no irritation.

Highly recommend Dr Gougoutas.
Dr Gougoutas did a revision of my breast reconstruction in February 2015. He removed implants that had formed capsular contractions and performed a DIEP flap. It was a 13-1/2 surgery as the implants were difficult to remove. Dr Gougoutas is a perfectionist and we went through two more revision surgeries that were outpatient to get wonderful results. He was also saddled with a bad incision done by a previous surgeon that he ultimately found a way to correct. I am so happy with the final results and would highly recommend Dr Gougoutas. He is very compassionate in addition to being a true artist when it comes to breast reconstruction.
